CBS Generates More Ad Revenue Online Than On TV

CBSEYEAmerican broadcast television network CBS is making up to 20% more ad revenue per customer online than via broadcast. That’s amazing and shows that online is the way to go.

Part of the secret is that you can’t switch channels to bypass ads that are displayed alongside the video content, claims Chief Research Officer David F. Poltrack, who probably hasn’t heard of AdblockPlus. Further you can’t skip or fast forward video ads in CBS’s online programming (you can always check out facebook in another tab, though).
